What We Heard

Building agendas for complex conferences can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially when managing multiple rooms, varying session lengths, and ever-changing schedules. You need tools that streamline the process and save time without sacrificing flexibility.

What We Did

To address these needs, we’ve rolled out three powerful new features to enhance the Agenda experience:

  • Selected Rooms in Scheduler: Now, you can highlight specific rooms in the scheduler, focusing only on the spaces you need at any given time.
  • Custom Drag-and-Drop Times for Sessions: Customize session durations with our flexible drag-and-drop tool, allowing you to set times based on format, such as 15 minutes for Lightning Talks or longer for deep-dive sessions.
  • Additional Statuses in Agenda Views: View sessions with multiple statuses beyond “Accepted,” enabling you to build and adjust prospective schedules before final decisions are made.

These updates are designed to give you more control, reduce time spent navigating your agenda, and allow for greater flexibility in planning and refining schedules. We understand that each event has unique requirements, and our goal is to help you make adjustments quickly, maintain clarity, and stay focused on delivering a polished experience.

What This Means

  • More Efficient Room Management: For admins managing 10+ rooms, viewing selected rooms makes it easier to concentrate on specific areas, minimize scrolling, and improve focus.
  • Flexible Session Scheduling: Custom drag-and-drop times align the agenda with your event’s structure, simplifying adjustments and ensuring session lengths meet your specifications.
  • Enhanced Planning with Multiple Statuses: By displaying different statuses in the Agenda view, you can build more dynamic schedules early on and continue refining them as session details are finalized.

Set Character Limits for Session Titles and Descriptions

Say goodbye to formatting headaches! With our latest update, you can now set character limits for session titles and descriptions, ensuring your content aligns perfectly with integration requirements and website formats.

This feature simplifies your workflow by maintaining consistency across platforms and preventing formatting issues before they arise. To start using it, simply navigate to the Fields section, select Session, and adjust the Title or Description field.
