Over the course of her career with the GSMA, she has demonstrated a strong ability to drive event strategies and content development for high-profile global events such as MWC Barcelona, MWC Las Vegas, and M360 LATAM. Responsible for conducting in-depth market research, crafting conference themes and tracks, and sourcing top industry speakers for these global events, Alexandra oversees the end-to-end process for conference sessions, from conceptualization to on-site delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and event operations teams. Additionally, she works on the Diversity4Tech programme and is dedicated to driving diversity across the conference content she manages.
Previously, Alexandra spent seven years at McAfee, where she rose through the ranks from UKI Marketing Executive to EMEA Marketing and Events Manager. Her hands-on experience spans vendor management, event execution, lead tracking, and reporting, as well as self-taught videography skills for internal communications. Alexandra’s contributions were integral in successfully planning and executing the EMEA MPOWER Conference in 2018, which saw over 1,000 attendees in Rome.
Before her tenure at McAfee, Alexandra worked at BlackBerry, where she was responsible for fast-paced incident reporting and communication within strict SLA requirements. This early experience honed her ability to manage high-pressure situations with precision and efficiency.
