Rachel Morrissey

Rachel A Morrissey is a seasoned content strategist and podcast producer currently serving as the Head of Content for Money20/20 US and Executive Producer of The MoneyPot Podcast. With a career spanning over a decade in media and finance technology, Morrissey has established herself as a key figure in shaping discussions around the future of money and financial innovation.

Morrissey joined Money20/20 in July 2019, where she steers the content direction for the organization's flagship event. She has developed innovative content sessions on topics such as sustainability in banking and financial inclusion, managed workshops and startup pitch competitions, and created and produced The MoneyPot Podcast.

Throughout her tenure at Money20/20, Morrissey has demonstrated a knack for innovation and adaptability.  Previous to her time at Money20/20, she co-created the podcast "Breaking Banks", which she grew to be one of the most influential podcasts in the financial services industry.

Morrissey holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies from New School University, completed in 2014. She has a BA in History and Theater Arts from USU.  She has also participated in various professional development programs, including Radio Bootcamp and Podcast School at UnionDocs. With her blend of content strategy, podcast production, and deep understanding of the fintech landscape, Rachel A Morrissey continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the conversation around the future of money at Money20/20.
